Freddy is one of the first animatronics of the game Five Nights At Freddy's and is the only animatronic that can jumpscare after the power goes out.

Uh... Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right?

Freddy Fazbear is the titular main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's, who later appears as variations in the succeeding games, and is the mascot of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He is an animatronic bear who, like the other animatronics in the game, is left in a "free-roaming mode" at night, during which he wanders around Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, along with the other animatronics, until 6 AM, to prevent their servos from locking up.

Like the other animatronics, Freddy Fazbear will try to forcefully stuff any human he sees after hours into a Freddy Fazbear suit, resulting in death.[1]

Freddy is a brown animatronic bear with a light shade of brown on both his stomach and puffy muzzle. On stage, he wears a black top hat, black bow tie, and wields a microphone with his right hand. He has thick black eyebrows, three-toed feet, and three blackish freckles on both sides of his muzzle. From his palms and underneath his fingers he has what appears to be paw-like prints. His round ears are articulated and are thus able to move backward and forwards (Similar to the ears of several other animatronics). Freddy sports squarish, human-like teeth from his lower jaw, and, like most of the animatronics at the pizzeria (except for Foxy), has no visible teeth on his upper jaw.

He has human handprints on the right side of his face and chin from the left (see picture above left), though they are difficult to locate. His irises are normally light blue, although, for paranormal reasons, they become glossy-black when he is commonly seen on-camera and in one of his jumpscares, rather than his normal costume eyes, with him and Foxy being the only two animatronics whose pupils glow white in the dark.

Locations[]

Freddy starts the night on the Show Stage, along with his bandmates, Bonnie and Chica. Upon activation, he will follow a set path from the Show Stage to the Office. The path is as follows:

Show StageDining AreaRestroomsKitchenEast HallEast Hall CornerThe Office.

Unlike the other animatronics, he will remain in dark areas of the room he is occupying, leaving mostly his eyes and parts of his face visible. This implies that Freddy is avoiding the cameras as much as possible or, as Phone Guy states, this may be because Freddy is more active in the dark.

Freddy will not be visible if another animatronic is in the same room as him. Viewing Freddy on the security cameras will slow him on his path, even if he is not visible in the room due to Bonnie or Chica's presence.

Freddy will play his jingle either when he is in the Kitchen, where he is not visible as that room's camera is disabled, or in The Office when the power is out and the player has no means of warding him off.

Behavior[]

Freddy spook

Freddy playing his jingle after the power runs out.

For the first two nights of the week, Freddy is inactive and stays onstage, looking at the camera intermittently. During those nights, he only becomes active if the player runs out of power.

After the power goes out and the player spends some seconds in the dimly-lit Office, Freddy Fazbear's face will light up in the left doorway, illuminated and shimmering, accompanied by his music box jingle. After several seconds, the remaining lights of the Office and Freddy's face will flicker and turn off, turning the room completely dark (also, Freddy's jingle will stop as well). Being initially not visible (yet sometimes audible due to his footsteps), Freddy will approach the guard and attack them, resulting in a game over.

If the player "plays dead" (i.e. does not move while he plays his jingle), his attack may be delayed. Typically, doing this may keep Freddy playing his jingle a bit longer and, when the lights completely go out, may delay his attack, giving the player a bit more time to hold out until 6 AM.

Output o2BAmu

Output swP4iS

From Night 3 onward, he becomes active while the power is on. Usually, when Freddy moves, a deep laugh and running footsteps are heard instead of the usual walking footsteps the animatronics create when moving. Freddy only moves either when the Monitor is down or if the player is not directly watching him.

Freddy can only enter the Office through the East Hall, except when the power has been drained, in which he will only enter The Office via the West Hall, specifically, the left door. As his movements are very fast, he can often appear as though he is capable of teleporting (much like Bonnie). This issue is compounded by the fact that the player cannot always hear him laugh when he moves as other sounds may prevent the player from hearing him laugh, meaning that the player has to constantly search for him to ensure that he is not right next to the Office.

The most efficient way to prevent Freddy from sneaking into the Office is to monitor the cameras frequently to stall his movements. If Freddy can be seen on CAM 4B, the player should always close the door while looking at the Monitor unless they are viewing the said camera, as shown by this video. The reason for this being, otherwise, Freddy may move inside the Office.

Freddy will only move inside the Office if the player looks away from CAM 4B to monitor another camera while he is there. Since Freddy does not appear in the blind spot, his position in the East Hall Corner indicates that he is just one step away from entering the Office and ending the game.

Trivia[]

  • Freddy Fazbear was originally called Freddybear, as seen in the Kickstarter and the Five Nights at Freddy's Steam description.[3]
  • On extremely rare occasions, Freddy, along with two others from the Show Stage, will stare at the camera. It is unknown if it also happens in the mobile port.
  • The music that Freddy plays is a musical box rendition of Georges Bizet's Votre toast, je peux vous le rendre (the Toreador Song) from the opera "Carmen". The song can be found here. (For the in-game version of the music, see the Audio tabber.)
    • The fact that Freddy's tune can be heard in Night 4's phone call implies that he could have been involved in the death of Phone Guy.
  • Technically, Freddy does have the ability to run like Foxy, as the sounds heard when he moves involve running footsteps, though he is never seen doing so.
  • If one looks closely at Freddy on the Show Stage after Chica or Bonnie have left, it can be seen that his regular eyes became glossy-black.
  • While confirming that the "Christmas update" for the game wouldn't happen, Scott jokingly said on his Steam reply that Freddy would dress in Santa's outfit for said update.[4]
  • In the first game, Freddy is the only animatronic to approach and enter the Office from both sides (the East Hall in his standard attack, and the West Hall if the player runs out of power).
  • Freddy is one of eight antagonists in the series to have more than one jump scare. The others are Springtrap, Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica (if her cupcake's jumpscare is counted), Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare Mangle (if their jumpscares from the closet are counted), and Ennard.
  • In Freddy's second jumpscare (when he enters the office without the power going out), his regular white-and-blue eyes can be seen for a split second before switching over to the black ones that last for the duration of the jumpscare. Though, the "blackness" that covers Freddy's eyes during his jumpscare could be shading.
  • Freddy is always the last of the animatronics to move from the Show Stage, after Chica and Bonnie. This includes during the Custom Night if Freddy's A.I. is set to 20 while the others are much lower. This is possibly why there are no in-game files of any animatronics on the Show Stage without Freddy actively present, or vice versa.
  • Freddy was originally intended to be stationary and only move when the player lost power during the night, akin to his behavior on the first two nights. However, Scott Cawthon wanted to give the titular character more floor time, and, in turn, changed the AI programming to its current iteration of stalking the player from Night 3 onwards.[5]
    • Scott Cawthon mistakenly mentions "diner" instead of "pizzeria" while referring Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
  • Freddy Fazbear is the first of three animatronics to have a kill screen preceded by music. The others being the Puppet and Ballora.
    • However, this only occurs if Freddy jumpscares the player after the power outage sequence.
  • Freddy has more counterparts than any character in the series: Golden Freddy, Toy Freddy, Shadow Freddy, Phantom Freddy, Nightmare Freddy, (possibly) Fredbear, (possibly) Nightmare Fredbear, (possibly) Nightmare, Funtime Freddy, and Yenndo.
    • Shadow Freddy and Phantom Freddy, however, could be considered Golden Freddy's counterparts because of their reused models.
    • Nightmare Fredbear may be the first incarnation of Golden Freddy.
  • Freddy appears with bloodshot human eyes in the hallucinations, whereas Bonnie appears with his eyes either glossy-black or absent.
  • Freddy is Heather Master's (the voice actress of Circus Baby) only favorite animatronic.[6]
  • The name "Fazbear" could be a reference to the Muppet character Fozzie Bear, who, in turn, is named after Faz Fazakas, the man who created the animatronic mechanism that allowed Fozzie to wiggle his ears.
  • Freddy seems to be based on both the 1977 version of Chuck E. Cheese from Chuck E. Cheese's since both are vocal leaders wearing a hat and bow tie, and Billy Bob from ShowBiz Pizza Place, as both he and Freddy are bears and prominent members of a band.
    • Freddy also bears a surprising resemblance to one of the Country Bears animatronics Henry.
  • The laugh that is heard while Freddy moves is an audio clip of a girl giggling, only slowed down.
  • A possible explanation for Freddy's lack of movement on the first two nights may be that he is studying the player's strategies to adapt accordingly.
    • This could have been implemented by Scott Cawthon to prevent the game from getting difficult too early or from becoming too easy later on.
  • Phone Guy states that Freddy becomes more active while in the dark. This might explain why he is the only animatronic that comes after the player when the power goes out, and hides in the darker areas of each room, as opposed to Bonnie and Chica, who usually stand in brighter areas.
  • Unlike the other animatronics, Freddy's normal eyes may only be seen both when either the power goes out, when he is in the East Hall, or when all animatronics are on-stage.
    • In the second game, when Freddy's face is shown in a close-up view of Party Room 3, one of his normal eyes can be seen, and the other is one of the glossy-black eyes. It may be possible that Freddy's eyes simply change depending on the lighting he is in. However, if this is true, Freddy's eyes would not shine in complete darkness, for they do not shine when he is in the main hallway in the second game.
  • Freddy can be seen holding his microphone when on the Show Stage and in both the Dining Area and East Hall, barely. This makes him the only animatronic to hold his stage item when not presently on-stage.
  • Freddy is the only animatronic to have only one position in each camera feed, except for occasionally looking into the camera on the Show Stage and slightly changing his position on the Show Stage as other animatronics leave.
  • Apart from the Show Stage and the Kitchen, Freddy's position on camera corresponds to how far he is from the player: the closer to the Office he is, the closer to the camera his face is and more of his face can be seen.
  • While on most cameras only Freddy's eyes glow, he somehow illuminates his entire face during the power outage and, even though his power outage jumpscare happens in complete darkness, Freddy himself is somehow fully well-lit. In the latter two cases, even his normal eyes are visible.
  • Clicking Freddy's nose on the "CELEBRATE!" poster from the Office will cause it to squeak.
    • This is also true if the player clicks Toy Freddy's nose on the poster in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (though this is not possible on the mobile edition) if the player clicks his drawing's nose on the wall in Five Nights at Freddy's 3 if the player clicks the nose of his plushie on the bed in Five Nights at Freddy's 4, and if the player clicks the Fredbear plushie's nose from the Custom Night in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location (though this is not possible in the mobile version).
  • Ee5596ed28c9f1571b369039c876fdbb

Poster of a distorted Freddy Fazbear ripping his head off.

In Freddy's distorted poster, he is shown tearing his head off. One of his hands is in the same positions as the handprints on his chin.
    • If it is true that the bodies of the children from The Missing Children Incident were stuffed into the animatronics, then the handprints may be not from someone pushing Freddy away (as is often speculated), but instead resulting from someone removing the suit's head to fit a body inside. This is supported by one of the Death Minigames in the second game, "Give Gifts, Give Life", in which a dead child is given a Freddy mask.
  • In Freddy's first jumpscare (when the power runs out), the screen does not shake. However, in his second jumpscare (getting to the player through conventional means), the screen does shake. This may be because Freddy pops up from the bottom in the first one, and screams directly in the player's face in the second one.
    • It may also be because the space around Freddy in his first jumpscare is pitch black, therefore eliminating the shaky effect that it would cause.
  • From the beginning of the first game's trailer, if one looks closely, they can see that there's a hole on Freddy's left palm.
    • When he is shown on stage with Bonnie and Chica, one can notice that he has an additional rip on the back of his hand.
    • As seen from the April Fool's "teaser", the hole from Freddy's left palm is not visible, assuming this could be Scott fixing the error.
    • Although while becoming active after he left the Show Stage, the rip on the back of his hand disappears. This also happens in the "Thank You!" image on Scott's website.
  • Freddy appears in every location that Chica appears in except for the East Hall blind spot.
  • Freddy Fazbear and Circus Baby are the only animatronics in the series to have an official last name.
    • Or, if the word "Circus" in the name is a term for Baby's type (similar to "Toy", "Phantom", "Nightmare", and "Funtime"), Freddy Fazbear may be the only one with an official last name.
  • Oddly, Freddy's in-game endoskeleton head is different than the endoskeleton head shown on the Steam page.
    • This is likely because the old endoskeleton head was a placeholder during development.
  • When Freddy enters the Office, he will emit a distorted, garbled whispering (in a similar way to Bonnie and Chica's groaning sounds). This sound is an altered, high-pitched version of a human whispering, though the last fraction of it is part of the sound Bonnie and Chica make while twitching in their respective corners (this sound is also emitted during hallucinations). This mostly cannot be noticed as Freddy can attack the player before the full sound finishes playing.
  • Due to certain merchandise with official renders, it is likely that Freddy has moveable eyebrows, likely depending on his "mood". Although this could just be for the render.
  • Freddy and Foxy are the only animatronics that have variations in every installment succeeding in the first game.
  • Freddy is one of the few animatronics from the entire series to be seen with his eyes flickering like lights. The others being Electrobab and Ennard (at the end during the Fake Ending).
  • So far, Freddy's appearance from the first game is his only counterpart to sport freckles.
  • Oddly enough, when Freddy moves closer to the screen jump scaring when the power goes out, if one looks closely, both of his eyes appear to slightly shrink. It is unknown why, but it could be something paranormal.
  • From the In-App Shop in the Android port, Freddy, along with Bonnie and Chica, appear as a purchasable plushie, costing $0.99.
  • Freddy, wearing his space-helmet, appears in the April Fool's "teaser" for FNaF 57: Freddy in Space!.
  • The image of Freddy along with Bonnie and Chica from the Show Stage seen during the ending after completing Night 5-7 seems identical to the scene from the trailer where the trio sings during the band, with Freddy himself staring directly at the point of view is the only exception.
  • Unlike other animatronics from the game, Freddy is the only animatronic to pop out in front of the player during his jumpscare.
  • His shadow can be seen in the cover for the guidebook The Freddy Files.

Errors[]

  • If Freddy attacks the night guard after they put the Monitor down, the light/door buttons disappear a split second before he fills up the screen.
  • From the first game's trailer while Freddy's on the Show Stage singing, his chin appears to clip through his bow tie as his mouth opens.
    • This is a common error with the other animatronics.
  • His left endoskeleton hand clips through his palm in the first part of the trailer.
  • In one of Freddy's jumpscares, another Freddy appears at the right door, with his position from the East Hall Corner.
  • On the Steam art cover for the first game, Freddy's chin clips through his bow tie.
    • The said image is used throughout the series' merchandise and maintains this error throughout.

Bugs[]

  • If the player lets both Freddy and another animatronic into the Office, and when the player holds up the Monitor for a while, sometimes they will disappear and Freddy will appear in their place when the first animatronic attacks, as seen in this video.

Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Freddy Fazbear's older model (also known as Withered Freddy referred to in catalog as Freddy Fazbear (Withered Version)[1]) makes an appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 as the titular antagonist. He, along with the four other older animatronics have all fallen into severe disrepair and he is replaced by his newer counterpart for the "improved" Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Toy Freddy.

Appearance[]

Out of all of the original animatronics, Freddy seems to be the least damaged.

In-game, according to Phone Guy on Night 2, it is explained that he has gone through an attempted retrofit, but was left unfinished after the management chose to make Toy Freddy (much like the other original animatronics being replaced by their respective counterparts).[2]

His overall appearance is unchanged, but small differences are visible - mainly the buttons added to his chest, and a more visible stitching on the underside of his arms. Most notably, however, is the damage on his arms similar to that of Foxy's, showing parts of his endoskeleton. He also seems to be lacking kneecaps. Additionally, both of his knees are damaged; with visible wires poking out of his left knee. His body segment is also smaller and his hat is removable, as it is seen sitting on the floor next to him in the Parts/Service room. It should be noted that he still holds a microphone.

This time around, Withered Freddy has an upper set of teeth, while his head appears far blockier. In addition to this, part of Freddy's endoskeleton teeth is also slightly visible. His freckles are gone, his eyebrows are thinner, and he has embossed inner ears. His eyes are in a slightly different position, meaning one of his eyes go up and down, and also seems to have been placed deeper within the mask. Also, his muzzle appears to be smaller and much rounder. The reason for his disrepair is due to neglect by the company and the fact that he is simply used as spare parts for the newer animatronics.

Withered Freddy's pupils are seen glowing white when he is in the Main Hall, Party Room 3, the hallway to the Office and in the Office itself. However, his eyes remain normal when he resides in the Parts/Service and during his jumpscare.

Location[]

Withered Freddy starts moving on Night 2, although very inactive on said night, and activity only picks up on Night 3. Withered Freddy starts the night in the Parts/Service room, looking rather dazed, with the other old animatronics, with Withered Freddy being the last to exit the room. He then enters into the Main Hall and then to Party Room 3 to stare into the camera, before standing in the hallway just outside the office, only a step away from entering.

Behavior[]

FNAF2OldFreddyJumpscare

Freddy attacking the night guard.

Unlike the other old animatronics, Withered Freddy is far less active and goes into the Office much more rarely than the others. However, he has a similar role to them and is still an incredibly active animatronic. As with Withered Bonnie and Withered Chica, Withered Freddy does not appear to become active enough to enter the Office until Night 3, as he did in the original game. Withered Freddy takes the path down the entrance hallway, entering the Office through the said hallway, similar to Toy Freddy. However, unlike Toy Freddy, Withered Freddy has only one phase in the hallway before entering the Office.

When Withered Freddy is in the hallway and the player lowers the Monitor, he will stand in front of the desk as the lights constantly flicker before he vanishes. The player must put on the Freddy Fazbear Head the moment they see Withered Freddy inside The Office to avoid imminent death. Delaying or neglecting to don the head will cause the screen to blackout as normal, only for him to return and give the player a "Game Over" after raising and lowering the Monitor. He may also forcibly pull down the Monitor or remove the Freddy Head if left on for some time after failing to ward him off. However, if Withered Freddy is warded off via equipping the Freddy Fazbear Head, then he returns to Parts/Service, and his cycle repeats. It should be noted that the player must keep tabs on Withered Freddy when he is in the hallway because staying too long in the Monitor while he's in the hallway will immediately trigger his jumpscare without entering the Office.

From the Custom Night, night modes where Withered Freddy is active are listed as follows:

  • 20/20/20/20
  • Freddy's Circus
  • Cupcake Challenge
  • Fazbear Fever
  • Golden Freddy

Trivia[]

  • Withered Freddy takes much longer to leave the Office in the iOS version of the game on some older models of iOS platforms, as do Withered Bonnie, Withered Chica, and Toy Freddy.
  • Withered Freddy jump scaring the player after using the Monitor for too long while he's in the hallway without entering the Office makes him, along with Golden Freddy, the only animatronics that can attack from both the hallway and the Office itself.
  • Withered Freddy's stare into the camera in Party Room 3 is similar to how he stared at the East Hall Corner's camera in the first game.
    • When Withered Freddy is doing this, his right eye is missing. However, his left eye is as it normally should be. This is the only time any of Withered Freddy's "glossy-black" eyes are shown, except both him featured on the main menu and his eyeless screen, as mentioned below.
      • This also makes Withered Freddy the only older animatronic to change eyes during gameplay.
  • Withered Freddy is the only animatronic that can be seen in the "Game Over" screen.
  • Withered Freddy's pupils remain lit while hunting the player. The only times they are unlit are while he lies on the floor in the Parts/Service room and during his jumpscare.
  • Rarely, the player may encounter an eyeless Withered Freddy after death or when initializing the game. This, along with similar images of Toy Bonnie and Withered Foxy, maybe a nod to the eyeless Bonnie screen from the first game.
  • Similar to the first game, Withered Freddy will only become active once Withered Bonnie and Withered Chica have already started moving due to the lack of an image showing Withered Bonnie and Withered Chica but no Withered Freddy in the Parts/Service camera feed.
    • This is also the case for Toy Freddy.
    • However this is not the case in Custom Night, as the Parts/Service Room's camera is disabled, letting Withered Freddy leave before the other two could.
  • Withered Freddy, Toy Freddy, Withered Foxy, and BB are the only animatronics to return to their starting locations during the night.
  • Withered Foxy and The Puppet take over the role Freddy had in the first game of attacking, should something stop functioning (the Flashlight and the Music Box, respectively). Similarly, the player has a chance of surviving and getting to 6 AM after the event is triggered if the animatronic waits longer before attacking.
  • Withered Freddy has a shadow counterpart that will sometimes appear in Parts/Service as a hallucination.
  • Withered Freddy is one of the few animatronics who does not appear in the air vents; four others being Toy Freddy, Golden Freddy, Withered Foxy, and the Puppet.
  • Withered Freddy is one of six animatronics that does not attack with arms outstretched, five others being Mangle, Toy Freddy, Withered Chica, Withered Bonnie, and Golden Freddy.
  • The way in which Withered Freddy stands near the ladies' restroom in the Main Hall could be a nod to how he hid in the ladies' restroom in the first game.
  • Withered Freddy is one of two animatronics that can be seen laying down on camera, the other being Mangle.
  • The way Withered Freddy stares into the suit in the "Game Over" screen is similar to the cutscenes after every night.
  • It can be seen that Withered Freddy is holding his microphone during his jumpscare in the first few frames.
  • When Withered Freddy is in the Parts/Service room, his hat is detached and right in front of his head on the ground. When he is not in the Parts/Service room, however, he is wearing his hat as if he picked up his hat to put it on.
  • One particular notice is that Withered Freddy lacks many of his unique tactics from the first game. He can be easily seen on every camera, is visible in the hall's blind spot, and rarely attempts to hide his presence from the player using obstructed or dark areas of the camera feed. While this could be due to his disrepair, it could also be a foreshadowing of the second game being a prequel, showing Withered Freddy to be lacking experience. Seeing as Toy Freddy has similar strategies and weaknesses, the latter appears to be more likely.
  • Withered Freddy is the only older animatronic to carry equipment.
  • Withered Freddy is the only older animatronic in the game to have eyebrows.
  • Withered Freddy is the only older animatronic without having his endoskeleton hands exposed if Golden Freddy is excluded.
  • Withered Freddy from the second game and Nightmare Freddy are Freddy's only two counterparts to be seen tipping their top hats (as seen from their teasers).

Errors[]

  • When Withered Freddy stands in the Office, his microphone appears to be clipping through his hand.
    • Also, Withered Freddy's left shoulder can be seen clipping through his upper arm.
    • More to add, the inside of his lower left arm appears to have nothing inside it.

The smell...uh, so the company decided to go in a whole new direction and make them super kid-friendly. Template:Freddy Infobox FNaF3 Freddy Fazbear returns once more in Five Nights at Freddy's 3. He is now one of the attractions at Fazbear's Fright along with the other animatronics. He can be seen outside the doorway to the left of The Office. Being a lifeless suit, Freddy is incapable of moving or attacking the night guard. His appearance does not affect gameplay and is only present for aesthetic purposes.

His role is majorly replaced by his phantom counterpart Phantom Freddy.

Appearance[]

Freddy's model is identical to his appearance from the first game. His suit is empty with a lack of arms, legs, eyes, and ears while his head and body remain. He also lacks his signature hat, as well as an endoskeleton, which has been replaced with pole-like stands.

Gameplay[]

Posters of Freddy can be seen inside the Office, CAM 02, CAM 09, and CAM 10. Drawings of Freddy can be also seen in few other various locations, including the Office, CAM 04, and CAM 08.

On CAM 07, there is a Freddy-themed arcade cabinet.

From the Office, there is a Freddy figurine located on the desk between the figurines of Bonnie and Chica. The image of his figurine also appears in the "IT BURNS" newspaper after completing Nightmare.

Freddy's head, along with three (four during the Bad Ending) others, appear in the ending screens after completing all five nights.

Minigames[]

Freddy's most notable appearance is in the end-of-night minigames. Upon completing each night, the player will be taken to a short minigame, with graphics similar to old Atari gaming systems, during which they must navigate a map of the pizzeria from the first game.

On the first night, the player will start as Freddy Fazbear, appearing on the Show Stage from the first game, alongside Bonnie and Chica. If they leave the Stage and enter any other room, they will encounter what appears to be Shadow Freddy, instructing the player to follow it. It will lead them to a room on the east side of the restaurant, and it will enter a room that is inaccessible to the player (they will receive an "ERR" message if they try to enter it). If they try to walk away, then Purple Guy will rush out and dismantle Freddy, and the minigame ends.

During every other end-of-night minigame, Freddy's remains can be seen scattered throughout the same room he was dismantled in.

From the "Happiest Day" minigame, one of the six children at the end of the minigame is seen wearing Freddy's mask.

Trivia[]

  • If one looks closely at Freddy's head, one can see human handprints on his face just like the ones from the first game, as Freddy himself is from the pizzeria where the first game takes place.
  • On rare occasions, the posters of Freddy found on CAM 02 and CAM 10 can change to a poster of Spring Bonnie.
  • Freddy appears in the third game's trailer, along with Bonnie and Chica.
  • A paper plate version of Freddy from the second game can appear in the top-right hand corner of the Office on rare occasions as a hallucination, much like the second game's hallucinations.
  • Freddy, as seen at the end of night minigames, seems not to carry his microphone. This would make the end of night minigames the first appearance of Freddy without his microphone.

Template:Freddy Infobox FNaF4 Like most of the other original animatronics, Freddy Fazbear himself does not make any major appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. His plushie can be seen on the Bed from the main gameplay as well as in some minigames after completing each night. The other appearance is when he appears on the TV on the Night 2 minigame, on a commercial titled "Fredbear & Friends!".

From the end-of-night minigame after completing Night 5, one of the protagonist's older brother's friends is seen wearing Freddy's mask.

Rather than appearing as himself, Freddy is majorly replaced with Nightmare Freddy.

Appearance[]

As a plush, Freddy has a similar color scheme to his regular appearances, having brown fur with spots of a lighter shade of brown on his belly and snout. Unlike other versions of his plush, he holds a microphone with his right hand. He also has a dark brown hat and bow tie. He has two buttons on his chest, similar to his appearance in the second game.

Trivia[]

  • Freddy's plush appears to be primarily based on his appearance from the second game, as evidenced by the two buttons on his chest.
    • As the fourth game takes place in Fredbear's Family Diner, it is unknown why Freddy's appearance is based on that of the second game, which presumably takes place many years later in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
  • From the Bed, his plushie makes a honking noise when the player clicks his nose. It only occurs in the PC version.
    • He also makes Nightmare Foxy jumpscare the player if the player clicks on the plushie's nose about 15 times, making this the only non-animatronic character to do something other than be a regular plushie.
      • This also includes in the mobile version, but the player has to flash the light at the Bed for a while to make Nightmare Foxy attack the player.
